Win tickets to workshop by Olympic swimmer

An Olympic swimmer will speak about how it feels to win gold at a cafe-based workshop on Monday. Adrian Moorhouse MBE, of Cookham, is the latest personality to speak at the Think and Drink workshops at Station Hill Cafe, Station Hill.

Winner of a gold medal for breaststroke at the Seoul Olympics in 1988 he will speak about what it feels like to win a medal, and how businesses can apply Olympic psychology to the way they run companies.

The 10am talks are organised by village-based Parfitt & Bee Media who will donate all proceeds to Holy Trinity Primary School and Cookham Nursery. On Thursday, February 9, children's author Charles Luxford, also of Cookham, and illustrator Andrew Prewett, of Ruscombe will speak.

Tickets £10 from the cafe or call 07957 395561 for details.
