Fears Chalvey prostitutes returning to Slough's 'previous haunts'
Success in tackling the prostitution problem in Chalvey could see it move back to 'previous haunts'.
Fears are that a crackdown in Chalvey will simply mean they ply their trade in other areas like Stoke Poges Lane in Baylis.
Cllr Duncan Buchanan, who lives in Stoke Poges Lane, said he has noticed women of the night returning to the road.
"You still get people walking along the road at 2am in the morning saying 'are there any girls for sale?'" he added.
He was speaking at a council scrutiny meeting on Monday, where police announced they hope to publish a draft strategy on dealing with prostitution in the town by the end of the month.
