Pensioners in Chalvey enjoy festive fun
Christmas came early for pensioners in Chalvey.
More than 90 guests enjoyed festive fun at Slough and Eton College yesterday.
Staff and pupils from the secondary school in Ragstone Road showed off their acting and musical talents, entertaining with a variety of performances.
The senior citizens were served up a tasty buffet tea prepared for them by year 10 food technology pupils with help from chef Steve Scuffel.
Extended school manager Heather Hyams said: "The pupils love playing host to their older guests and we hope that the event helps everyone whatever their age to get on well together."
