Burglars steal children's racing motorbikes
Two motorbikes were stolen in Colnbrook.
Burglars targeted a house in Moreland Avenue between 2pm on Thursday and 7.30am the following day.
They got into the back garden through a pathway and used a shovel to break in to the shed.
PC Daniel Done, of Slough police station, said: "These bikes are highly tuned and set up for the victim's children, who are distraught as they participate successfully in the racing world and are unable to practice or enter any events."
An orange, black and white KTM 65 Motorcross Bike, 2011 model, serial number VBKMRA235BM065750 with number 232, an orange KTM 50 Motorcross bike, 2009 model, serial number VBKMRA23X9M056181 with number 232, and a Honda petrol-powered generator were all stolen.
Police are asking people to make sure that the pathways running behind their houses are secure as many burglaries are often a result of easy access to back gardens.
