Plan for new clock to celebrate Queen's jubilee
Plans for a new clock in Colnbrook to commemorate the Queen's diamond jubilee are well underway.
In 1903 a Coronation clock was unveiled to commemorate King Edward VII's Coronation in 1902.
The building the clock was on was demolished in the 1930s and it was then stored in various locations and is now at the Ostrich Inn.
Most of the fundraising is complete and a planning application has been submitted for the new timepiece which would be displayed in front of the Olde George Inn.
It is hoped it will be up in time for jubilee celebrations in June.
