Charges after bookies robberies

Two men have been charged following robberies at three Coral bookmakers.

Peter Wheeler, aged 22, of White Hart Avenue, Uxbridge and Tommy Ellingham, also 22, of Frogmore Avenue, Hayes, were charged on Tuesday.

Charges are in relation to robberies at the bookies in Langley, Denham and Chalfont St Peter between December and January.

Coral in Langley was robbed on January 9.

Both men are also charged with possession of an imitation firearm in connection with the Chalfont St Peter robbery and possession of a firearm in connection with the robberies in Denham and Langley.

They are also charged with other incidents in Middlesex and Wiltshire.

Both are due at Swindon Magistrates Court on Wednesday.
