Woman falls from M4 motorway bridge
Horrified drivers saw a woman fall from a footbridge over the M4 motorway this morning.
Police were called at 11.28am after receiving reports that a woman in her 40s had fallen off the overbridge leading from Grampian Way, Langley on the roundabout at junction five.
The woman was conscious as she was treated on the scene by paramedics from South Central Ambulance, before being taken to Wexham Park Hospital, Slough where she is understood to be in a stable condition.
A road block between junctions five and seven was imposed briefly.
