Slough Grammar School reveals new name and image
A name change is in order for Slough Grammar School for the fifth time in its 100-year existence.
The Lascelles Road school will be known as Upton Court Grammar School from September 1 after the governors voted the name change at a meeting on March 11.
There will also be a review of signage, landscaping and lighting in line with the new name as well as a new logo.
Naveed Hussain, assistant principal at Slough Grammar, said: "The changes will come in line with the opening of a new canteen and classrooms on April 25.
"The uniform will remain the same but we are still going through the planning stage of the review and more information will be available after Easter."
The school will be keeping parents informed through their website and newsletter.
