Slough rape: Appeal for two key witnesses

gen_police-jacketPolice investigating the rape of a 17-year-old girl in Slough are appealing for two important witnesses to come forward.

Detectives would like to trace a man who the victim approached after the attack in Salt Hill Way at 4.30am on Sunday.

They said she would have been distressed and was asking for help.

The force are also trying to trace a taxi driver who picked up a man and woman in Watford in the early hours of Sunday and drove to Slough.

Anyone with any information about these witnesses should call Det Con Ghulam Mourtaza in Slough CID on 101.

* Arshad Arif, 28, of Belfast Avenue, has been charged with kidnap and two counts of rape in connection with the Salt Hill Park attack.
