Tributes paid to DJ Unkar Singh, 25, who died while on holiday

The Asian community in Slough is mourning the sudden death of 25-year-old Unkar Singh.

The DJ died on Tuesday last week while he was in India for his brother Aman's wedding.

Unkar, of Warrington Avenue, Slough, was known to many as DJ Unkz. He was due to marry next year and had been out celebrating the festivities for his brother's wedding in Punjab, India. He was found ill on Valentine's Day and was taken to hospital, where he was in a coma. He died the next day.

A funeral was held just hours after his death and his body was cremated in India.

The up-and-coming DJ worked for Kudos Music, based in Mill Street, and would DJ all over the country at clubs, weddings and parties.
