Charity walk in Slough raises thousands

More than 200 walkers clocked up the miles in Slough to raise funds for 20 charities.
The annual Slough Together Walk took place on Saturday.
Organisers Slough Rotary Club decided to change the start and finish to Upton Court Park, with participants trekking five or 10 miles.
Roger Home, from the club, said: "What a great day."
Getting 20 charities on board was a record for the event, which gives even the smallest charity groups the chance to take part and raise funds for their cause.
The fundraising total has already passed the £10,000 mark with more being totted up.
