Man was attacked before injured in bus accident

Gen_ambulance_blurA GBH victim fell into a bus during an assault in Upton.

The 24-year-old man was walking along the A4 London Road on Friday at 1.20pm.

He was attacked as he reached the junction with Lascelles Road and fell into the moving bus, smashing one of its windows.

The victim was taken to Wexham Park Hospital for treatment to a laceration to his head and was released later the same day.

Detective Constable Stuart Bale said: "It is believed the victim and offender were known to each other and this was not a random attack. We have spoken to a number of witnesses, however I am keen to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time of the assault or a passenger on the bus on Friday afternoon who has not yet spoken to the police."

Contact Det Con Bale on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 111555.
