Victim left with broken collarbone after fight

gen_policecarAn assault victim in Upton Lea was left with a broken collarbone.

The 32-year-old man was walking along Grasmere Avenue with a friend on Wednesday at 9.15pm.

A black Mercedes pulled up, three men got out and a fight started.

One of the trio allegedly punched the victim, causing him to fall to the ground.

He sustained a broken collarbone, and cuts and grazes to his head, face and hand.

Detective Constable Joanne Castle, of Slough CID, said: "We believe there were a number of people who may have seen the altercation, and I am appealing for witnesses to come forward and assist with our enquiries."

* A 24-year-old man was arrested on Friday on suspicion of assault occasioning grievous bodily harm (GBH) and bailed until February 17.
