Cyclist suffers head injuries after chasing bike thief

A cyclist suffered head injuries after he chased the thief who stole his bike in Wexham.

The theft happened at around 10.15am on Thursday when the blue Kona Caldira mountain bike was taken from outside Lloyds Pharmacy in Wexham Road.

The 24-year-old owner of the bike chased after the thief into Broadmark Road.

He was assaulted by the thief and another man. He suffered head injuries but was not taken to hospital.

The offenders are both described as black and around 20-years-old. One was of medium build, wearing a dark Adidas hooded top with grey sleeves, dark jogging bottoms and black gloves, with a small moustache.

The second offender was of slim build and was wearing a hooded jacket.
