Convenience store sold alcohol to 15-year-old
A convenience store accused of selling alcohol and cigarettes to underage customers faces a review of its premises licence.
Cippenham Food and Wine, in Cippenham Lane, will go in front of a Slough Borough Council licensing sub-committee on Monday, February 20.
A bottle of wine was sold to a 15-year-old girl during a test purchase operation on December 9 last year and police also received reports of cigarettes being sold to a 12-year-old girl and other children in school uniform.
Thames Valley Police wants conditions to be added to the shop's premises licence, including two members of staff being at the store from 6pm until closing.
Officers also want staff to be trained in responsible alcohol retailing and a yellow card warning to be issued to the store.
