More than two-thirds of consumers want to be in the driving seat when it comes to customer service, a new survey has revealed.

Research by digital marketing expert Steven Van Belleghem found 67 per cent of consumers in Britain want a self-service option in both the pre-sale and post-sale phase of dealing with a company.
