A feisty female racing driver is giving the boys a run for their money in a motorsport competition. Racing instructor Jade Edwards is battling it out in the Ma5da MX5 Championship 2012, which sees her compete at race tracks across the country. Windsor Leisure Centre

Fitness-lovers will have enhanced facilities to train and exercise in at Windsor Leisure Centre after development plans were revealed. The Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead council will start work on a £320,000 extension at the Stovell Road facility in June, which will be ready for use in January next year. These include an expanded BodyZone gym that will be extended to the second floor where £40,000 worth of training equipment will be installed.
