Firefighters had to be called to deal with a fire in Slough town centre last night.
Two crews were sent out at about 11.30pm to tackle a blaze on a second floor roof in the High Street.
Crew manager James King said decking and outdoor furniture had caught fire, leaving the roof ‘completely destroyed’ and also causing smoke and heat damage to the office below.
No one was injured in the incident, which is not being treated as suspicious.
The cause is unknown.
