Firefighters called to car fire in Stoke Poges

A car fire in Stoke Poges had to be put out by firefighters yesterday (Wednesday).

Crews from Slough Fire Station were called to the blaze in Church Lane at about 11.30pm.

A Volvo parked in a carport had caught fire and firefighters had to use two hose reels to douse the flames.

The car was empty and it is not yet known how the fire started.
