A weekend of fun was enjoyed by the Slough Sea Cadets (SSC) at Datchet Water Sailing Club last weekend.
Cadets aged between 10 and 18 sailed, paddled and boarded at the sailing club in Horton Road, and also enjoyed the club’s remote control yachts and sailing simulators.
SSC has recently relocated to the sailing club and for many cadets this was the first chance for them to try everything the club has to offer on Saturday, May 21 and Sunday, May 22.
Stuart Spencer, of SSC, said: “Having to leave our previous Kingsmead Sailing Club facility due to closure after seven great years was always going to be a challenge.
“Datchet Water Sailing Club were keen to help from the minute we contacted them and the facility is one of the best in Berkshire and west of London.”
