A Post Office branch is set to open in Slough town centre next month.
The service left the High Street after the former WHSmith at 176 High Street, which housed the post office branch, closed its doors in May 2024.
The closure left the town centre without a Post Office service.
The branch is set to open at unit 39, Queensmere Observatory Shopping Centre, High Street from 1pm on Thursday, November 13.
The opening hours will be Monday to Saturday, 9am to 5.30pm.
The branch will offer the same range of post office services, and there will be two full screened Post Office counters and one open-plan Post Office counter.
A range of services will be available, including personal business and banking, sending packages, paying bills and top ups, passport applications, and identity services.
Cards and stationery retail will be situated alongside Slough Post Office.
There is an opportunity for customers to provide feedback regarding access into and within the premises. This will close on Tuesday, November 25.
Customers can share views during the consultation online at postofficeviews.co.uk, using the branch code 062946.
Submissions can also be made through email at comments@postoffice.co.uk, by post to Freepost YOUR COMMENTS, or by phone at 03452660115 or Textphone at 03457223355.
