Windsor FC have announced Diogo Nobre as their new manager following the news the club will be ground sharing with Beaconsfield Town in the 2023/24 season.
The Royalists had been in the market for a new manager after Mick Woodham made the decision to depart at the end of last season, unable to prevent the club from getting relegated from the Combined Counties League Premier Division North.
In a tweet published on Wednesday afternoon, Windsor said: “We are delighted to confirm the appointment of Diogo Nobre as first team manager, having previously been part of the Beaconsfield Town coaching team.
“Diogo, who hails from Portugal, holds a UEFA A Coaching License and brings with him an extensive CV of coaching and management experience in both the UK and abroad with a particular emphasis on developing young talent.
“Previous coaching and management roles include time spent at Enfield Town and Wingate & Finchley in the UK, first team coach for Casa Pia Atletico Clube in the Portuguese National Championship, and first team and academy manager at Peimari United in the Finnish second division.”
Windsor FC open their Combined Counties League Division One campaign at home to Hillingdon Borough next Saturday (August 5).
