Marlow’s Girls u10s team have progressed to the regional finals later this month after winning the Bucks Cup title in Amersham this week.
The girls team took the title while the boys u10s just missed out, finishing runners-up in their event.
The girls now go forward to take part in the regional finals on Sunday, March 27 where they will face eight other teams with the same aim of progressing to the national finals.
Coach Matt Rayner said: “Although only nine players could take part on the day the 13 player training squad and coaches have been working hard over the past two months organising and attending extra coaching sessions with the aim of winning the Bucks County Cup and progressing to the regional competition on Sunday 27th March. All at Marlow Hockey Club are very proud of all the players and how hard they have worked.”
The girls team for the Bucks Cup included Emma Blake, Jemima Smith, Elvie Rayner, Lucy Hellewell, Ella Middleton, Sienna Dru, Evie Nickolson, Molly Keegan and goalkeeper Emma Hodson (pictured).
