The Kaczmarczyk family have their tickets for the big game.
Magpies first team assistant Sam Lock has urged Maidenhead United fans to snap up the remaining tickets for Saturday’s FA Cup first round clash with League 1 leaders Portsmouth.
Seated tickets for the tie, which kicks off at 12.30pm to accommodate the BT Sport cameras, have now sold out but general standing tickets are still available. They’re priced at £15 for adults, £10 for concessions and £5 for children u16. Please note that ID may be required for concession tickets.
General sale continues today (Monday), between 11.30am and 2.30pm and 5pm-8pm. Subsequent sale dates will be confirmed depending on ticket availability.
Ahead of one of the biggest FA Cup ties ever hosted at York Road, Lock said: “Results in the league haven't been good enough lately but the players are looking to give it a good go against a big club next Saturday.
“This is a chance for the players to show how good they can be but we also want the town to enjoy the occasion. Let's sell every last ticket and pack the place out to make it as difficult as possible for the opposition"
The Magpies are one of only 15 clubs to have taken part in the inaugural FA Cup in 1871.
They’ve not made it through to the second round of the competition since 1886.
The club's PA, Neil Maskell, added: “Join us at York Road to support your local team and take part in a live TV broadcast as we attempt to make history against the 2008 FA Cup winners.
"You won't want to miss out as the Magpies endeavour to cause what would surely be one of the biggest giant-killings in recent history.”
