Maidenhead United go in search of second away win at Torquay United

Maidenhead United will look to pick up their second away win of the campaign when they visit Torquay United tonight (Tuesday, kick-off 7.45pm).

United suffered their first blip of the season on Saturday, as Niko Muir’s second half strike condemned them to defeat against an impressive looking Hartlepool United.

Torquay United were promoted to the National League as champions last season, bouncing back to the top tier of non-league football at the first attempt.

United’s most recent memories of Plainmoor are disappointing ones. On that night in October 2017 the team coach was delayed en route to the ground before first half goals from McQuoid, Young, Murphy and Reid earned the Gulls a 4-0 win.

Segregation will be in operation for the match, with prices for away fans as follows.

MUSA are running a coach to the fixture. It’s £35 for Travel Club members, £45 for MUSA members, non members £50 and accompanied children Under 16 £40. Contact chrismraine@tiscali.co.uk or call 07880 972604 to book your place.
