FA Cup draw: Maidenhead United to host either Wealdstone or Bristol Manor Farm in fourth qualifying round

Maidenhead United have been handed a home draw against either Bristol Manor Farm, or National League South league leaders Wealdstone in the fourth qualifying round of the FA Cup, after the draw was made at talkSPORT’s base this afternoon.

The Stones are five points clear at the top of their league, having won 10 of their 12 matches so far this season but on Saturday they were held to a goalless draw by step four side Manor Farm, currently bottom of Southern League South.

They’ll replay for a chance to visit Maidenhead tomorrow night (Tuesday).

Slough Town needed a dramatic injury-time equaliser from Ryan Bird to rescue a 3-3 draw against Chippenham Town on Saturday, and the winners of this week’s replay will visit Whyteleafe in the final qualifying round.

Whyteleafe are currently 14th in Isthmian South East Division.

The fourth qualifying round draw sees the entry of clubs from the National League, with winning clubs progressing to the first round proper of the competition, thereby earning a chance to play a league side.

Ties will take place on the weekend of Saturday, October 19, with winning clubs to receive £18,750 from the FA Cup prize fund.
