Maidenhead United this week thanked those who’ve taken on and supported fundraising challenges for the club’s 150th anniversary.
Just a week after launching the Magpies 150 Challenge, the club’s JustGiving page has already passed £1,000 and several more fundraising efforts have been announced in the meantime.
One of the latest has been set up by Magpies in the Community volunteer Gabriela Costa, who together with friends plans to paddle board 150 miles in 15 days. Stand up paddleboarders, canoeists and kayakers are all welcome to get involved and help the group to their target.
The club are aiming to raise £150,000 during their 150th year for 15 charities based in Maidenhead and Windsor.
