National League set play-off dates as Magpies finalise plans for final home matches

Maidenhead United have now finalised their plans for the final home matches of the season, however, it’s still possible of course the Magpies extend their campaign by finishing in the play-off spots.

United’s final three matches at York Road look certain to be crucial to the side’s hopes of finishing in the top seven.

The final home game in March will see fellow promotion hopefuls Weston-Super-Mare visit York Road, with the Seagulls looking to do the double over the Magpies having secured victory back in August.

This game on Saturday, March 28 will be Maidenhead’s annual ‘Football for a Fiver’ fixture and coincides with Non-League Day 2026. All tickets are available for £5 with juniors (u17s) able to enter for £1.

On Easter Monday, Hampton & Richmond Borough visit York Road, with ex-Magpies skipper Alan Massey set to be part of the travelling squad.

This game on Monday, April 6, is set to be a ‘Retro Day’ with supporters encouraged to wear their favourite Maidenhead United kits from this or previous seasons.

Several Maidenhead United legends have also been invited to join the celebrations, and fundraising will take place around the ground for the club’s principal sponsors, Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM).

Family tickets (two adults and three children) are £40 for this match.

The Magpies final home game of the season takes place against Dover Athletic on Saturday, April 18 and the hope will be Ryan Peters’ side have cemented their place in the top seven by then.

All games are scheduled for a 3pm kick-off, unless they’re selected for television coverage by DAZN.

The National League has also confirmed details for the play-off matches, should Maidenhead finish in the top seven come the end of the campaign.

The first eliminator matches will take place on April 28-29, followed by Semi-final matches on Saturday, May 2 before the promotion final on Saturday, May 9.

Eliminator A (5th v 6th) – Tuesday 28 April

Eliminator B – (4th v 7th) – Wednesday 29 April

Semi-Final (2nd v Eliminator A Winner) – Saturday 2 May

Semi-Final (3rd v Eliminator B Winner) – Saturday 2 May

Promotion Final – Saturday 9 May

Promotion Finals in the Enterprise National League South will take place at the home ground of the finalist club who finished higher in the league table during the regular season. Final details including kick-off times for all play-off matches will be confirmed in due course.
