Cox Green boxer Aaron Sinclair defeated Stefan Slavchev on points to claim his second professional victory at Bethnal Green’s York Hall on Saturday night.
Sinclair was on top from the opening bell on Saturday, using his jab to good effect to work his way into the bout.
He had Slavchev, a seasoned pro, on the ropes with a crashing left hook in the second round but wasn’t able to knock out his opponent.
The Maidenhead fighter continued to press and probe for openings, cutting down the ring and landing a series of crisp jabs to the head and body that didn’t go unnoticed by the judges.
After the final round they awarded him a 40-37 point win and Sinclair is now looking forward to fixing up some higher profile fights in the New Year.
Anyone interested in sponsoring Aaron should contact his father, Andy Sinclair, on 07956 86753.
