One of the emerging stars of the tennis world, Stefanos Tsitsipas, has confirmed his return to The Boodles event at Stoke Park County Club Hotel from June 25-29.
The Greek player beat Roger Federer en route to the semi-finals of the Australia Open and played one of the matches of the season in last week’s five-set defeat to Stan Wawrinka at the French Open. He’s been a regular at The Boodles since being a junior and will line up alongside some other big hitters.
Joining Tsitsipas will be former US Open champion Juan Martin Del Potro, currently ranked 12th in the world. The exciting Canadian Denis Shapovalov, ranked 25th, has also confirmed his participation.
In previous years Andy Murray, Novak Djokovic and Rafa Nadal have all played in the Wimbledon warm-up.
