Slough Jets have continued their busy post-season signings as Sean Norris rejoins the club for another year.
The number 14 is the leading British point’s scorer, finishing the season with 83 points from just 24 games, with 64 mins coming in penalties.
The signing continues to show the intent of the Jets to keep their title winning core together as they look to replicate and better last season’s successes.
Speaking on the club website Norris said: “After our great success last season I am really glad to be signing with the Jets for a second term, Lukas is a great coach to play for and I'm excited to be playing for him again and I know he will put together a team that can compete to win trophies, but also for the fans here at Slough who were incredible last season!”
Player/coach Lukáš Smítal, who re-signed for the club last month alongside forward Sam Talbot, is happy to have the prolific points scorer back for another season.
“'Sean was incredible for us last year and I'm really pleased to have signed him again for another season,” added
“I have no doubt that he will play a big role for us again this season. Sean brings good speed and hockey sense for such a young guy and he can shoot the puck too. We will work together over the summer on the areas he needs to improve and focus on and I'm confident he can be a key player for us again.”
