Workshop invites pupils to create ideas from Lego for Slough's future

More than 400 children were asked to help 'Build the Change' for a project organised by Lego and Slough Library.

On Monday children from Claycots Primary School visited The Curve in Welllington Street.

Pupils were asked to create something from Lego bricks which they thought would make the town a friendlier and more creative place.

Children from other schools such as IQRA and Godolphins also took part as well as members of the public.

Dayna White, audience development manager at The Curve, said: "We wanted to encourage children to use their voice and to understand how important they are to the future of our town.

"We had some amazing creations which ranged from water parks to skate parks, and even a few refugee homes.

“It was really possible to see that the children of Slough understand what’s going on in their society and they have some brilliant ideas.”
