Families and children petted an array of feathered and furry friends at Herschel Park on Friday when a mobile petting zoo came to town.
Maidenhead-based Basil and Crew Mobile Farm brought its team of goats, rabbits, lambs, ducks and donkeys to say hello to children at the park.
Throughout the day between 400 and 600 people attended the Slough Borough Council organised event.
Herschel Park manager Ian Judd said: "It was beautiful, it was sunny and we had quite a few people.
"It's primarily aimed at the little tiny tots really, they can get up close and personal with animals for their first time. It's quite nice and it gets people out an about."
Ian organises events similar to the one in Herschel Park to give youngsters as well as their parents something to do over the half term.
