A popular supermarket chain has welcomed customers to its new location in Slough High Street.
Doors to the new Iceland store, situated at 206-216 High Street, opened at 8am on Tuesday and in celebration, the company gave away £1,000 worth of vouchers to spend in-store to the first 100 customers.
The customers were given an envelope with a voucher worth between £5 and £100.
Iceland Foods has re-opened the Slough store on the High Street, in a move from its location in the Queensmere Shopping Centre.
The opening of the store creates new jobs, while also retaining existing employees from the Queensmere store.
Kristian Barrett, Group Retail Director at Iceland Foods said: “At Iceland Foods, we are pleased to be able to continue to serve our customers with the re-opening of the Slough store.
“Value is at the heart of Iceland, and our shoppers can count on finding fresh, chilled, and frozen food at market-leading prices.
“We look forward to welcoming back customers both old and new to our new look store.”
