Desborough’s home match against Falcon IBC last week had to be cancelled due to several members of the visiting team coming down with ‘suspected Coronavirus’. The match was set to take place at Green Lane on Wednesday, March 4.
The club’s home game against Iver Heath did go ahead as planned on Sunday, with Desborough claiming a comfortable 172-145 victory.
The hosts secured victory on five of the eight rinks, with Norma Cormican, Frank Patton, Tina Scherer and skip Ralph Hatch taking top rink honours with a 34-10 win.
