Anthony Andrews has left his position as Head coach of Windsor RFC after the club announced a review of the coaching structure on their website.
Andrews departs the club just two weeks after securing Windsor’s Wandworth 6x South West One championship title after almost three years at the helm of the club.
A statement on the club website on Wednesday outlined a ‘review of the season and coaching structure’ at Home Park and that the club were ‘sad’ to announce the departure of the head coach.
The statement read: “Following a review of the season and the coaching structure, we are sad to announce the departure of Anthony Andrews as Windsor Head Coach.
“Windsor RFC are in the process of reviewing its coaching structure and will making an announcement of the new structure in the next few weeks.
“The Rugby Committee on behalf of Windsor RFC would like to thank Anthony for all his hard work over the last 3 years and would like to wish him well in the future. Anthony will always be welcome at Windsor RFC.
