Former Jets’ legend Steve Moria says he’s looking forward to reacquainting himself with the special people of Slough when he showcases his MO19 leisure wear range at The Hangar on Saturday night.

The Slough Jets will host a special event to coincide with their match against the Telford Tigers on Saturday, March 15. Doors open from 5.30pm and the face off is at 6.30pm.

The Canadian spent three and a half seasons with the Jets, guiding them to their 2008 play-off win. He retired from the sport in 2012 and has since launched his leisure wear range which will be available to buy on the night.

Moria has also announced that special guests Joe Ciccarello, Brian Biddulph, Terry Miles and possibly Stewart Tait will be joining him at The Hangar. There will also be fun and games with MO19 clothing to be won.

Joe Ciccarello played for the Slough Jets between 2005 and 2009, making 165 appearances and returning 283 points and was a member of the play-off winning squad in 2007/08.

Brian Biddulph was a Jet between 1987 and 1992, and is well known as one of the club’s biggest characters. The big defenceman played the game hard, but with a smile on his face, making 115 appearances for the Jets and returning 60 points. .

Terry Miles is a former club captain whose career was sadly chequered with injuries while Stewart Tait will also attend depending on his availability.

Steve Moria commented; “I am looking forward to bringing MO19 to Slough and reacquainting myself with a lot of great people I met whilst playing for the Jets.

“The MO19 brand is still developing but has been extremely popular with those who have the MO-Wear.”

Jets' media manager Mark Denholm added: “He is one of the very best players to have played in the UK and through his Mo19 leisure wear has continued to be involved in the sport since his retirement in 2012. Steve has put a lot of planning in to this night so I hope it’s a success for him.”

Tickets are available priced from £6.50, with £1 off the advertised prices for anyone in Mo19 wear, and as always generous discounts for large group bookings are available.
