    FA Cup latest: Maidenhead United vs Faversham Town

    Maidenhead United bow out of the FA Cup at the second qualifying round stage after a 1-0 defeat to Faversham Town of step 4. 

    90' It's anywhere will do for Faversham now as they clear their lines once again! 0-1 

    90' Dulson with another headed attempt from Andrews' cross that Greensall saves comfortably. 0-1

    90' OFF THE BAR! Dulson picks the ball up in the area and pings a shot off the outside of the post. 0-1 

    90' Faversham change. Fagg is replaced by Fran Collin. 0-1 

    90' Seven added minutes to be played. Harriott bends the ball around the wall and it's on target but Greensall saves! 0-1

    89' Free kick for the Magpies outside the Faversham box, central. Popoola and Callum Harriott over it. 0-1

    85' What a save from Van Stappershoef. Ben Gorham rises well from a corner and directs a header towards the bottom corner but the Dutch keeper flings himself to his right to keep the ball out. 0-1 

    81' Just over 10 minutes for the Magpies to find an equaliser. They've forced a series of corners and put lots of balls into the box but haven't created as many decent chances in this half. 0-1

    67' He's done it again! Greensall half saves Kai Yearn's shot and it bobbles towards the goalline before the Faversham stopper gets back to grab it on the line. Maidenhead have come so close to scoring twice in as many minutes, but it's not been their day so far. 0-1

    66' Off the line! Maidenhead come within inches of an equaliser. They work the ball well in the box for Robinson to have a shot. His effort is half blocked by Bradley Simms but rolls agonisingly toward the line before Greensall dives back to hook it off the line. 0-1

    65' Nearly 20 minutes into the second half and this has been a more even contest. 

    61' Another absolutely massive chance for Faversham, but Amgbaduba heads wide at the back post with almost all of the goal to aim at. That should have been their second. 0-1 

    60' Ethan Smith is sent clean through for Faversham and has a glorious chance to put the visitors two goals to the good, but his low shot is saved by Van Stappershoef! 0-1 

    58'  Maidenhead work the ball well on the right and have an overload in the area of three on two, but the cross from Popoola fails to pick out any of them. Disappointing. 0-1

    51' Greensall makes two smart saves in a matter of minutes. First, he gets a really strong hand to keep out Dulson's powerful drive. Then he repels away a poked effort from Kai Yearn. United pushing for an equaliser here. 0-1 

    47' Dulson with a strong run down the left side. He swings in a dangerous cross but it's headed behind for a corner. 0-1 

    46' Kwaiye kicks the second half underway. 0-1 

    The Magpies players are back out. Can't see any changes. Faversham following them out a few minutes later. They'll be desperate to hold onto this lead, but they spent most of the first half under the cosh before Kwaiye's 42nd minute opener. 0-1

    Really strange half for the Magpies. They pretty much did everything right, apart from failing to score from several decent chances and then allowing Faversham to nick one before half-time with their only threatening attack. Tashi-Jay Kwaiye's goal a few minutes before the break separates the sides at York Road. 

    45' Two minutes of added time at the end of the half. 0-1

    42' Goal Faversham. The visitors take the lead very much against the run of play. Tashi-Jay Kwaiye diverting the ball home from close range from Kieron Campbell's low shot. 0-1 

    40' Heading towards half-time and we're still goalless at York Road. The hosts have controlled this and should be in front with the chances they've had, but Faversham will be buoyed by the fact they're still level. 0-0 

    34' At the other end, Cochrane does really well to beat his man and send in a low cross that Jack Parter almost turns past his own keeper, but it goes wide of the far post. 0-0 

    33' Half chance for Faversham and Callum Davies who doesn't really get hold of his shot on the turn in the area and Maidenhead clear. 0-0 

    30' Maidenhead work an opening again with Cochrane sending in a low cross from the right that Popoola couldn't convert. Just couldn't sort his feet out there to side-foot the ball home. 0-0 

    23' A great turn and shot from Popoola which is blocked behind for a corner. From the corner, Faversham keeper Roshan Greensall pushes the ball out from underneath his own bar. United getting closer but they're still to make the breakthrough. 0-0 

    19' Jordon Ragguette with an absolute howitzer which flies just wide of the post. That must have been more than 30 yards out. 0-0 

    15' Josh Popoola swings in a dangerous cross and Kane Ferdinand rises well but directs his header just wide of the far post. 0-0 

    11' Maidenhead have been pretty dominant in the opening 10 minutes. Controlling possession and have created a few chances, without looking too troubled in defence. Robinson, Kai Yearn, Popoola and Dulson heavily involved. 0-0 

    9' Matt Robinson then has a pop from distance for the Magpies and it bounces wide of the post. Keeper looked to have it covered 0-0 

    7' Kieron Campbell has a go from distance for the visitors, but Jordi Van Stappershoef makes a comfortable save low down. 0-0 

    5' Maidenhead should be ahead. Dulson slips a pass into Corie Andrew who is in on goal, but the striker miss-kicks the ball and the chance goes begging. 0-0 

    3' It's all Maidenhead in the opening few minutes and Liam Dulson just danced past a couple of challenges in the box before seeing his shot blocked. United looking to set the tone here. 0-0 

    2' Crossbar! The Magpies go close in peculiar circumstances with Jordon Ragguette's deep cross bouncing off the bar and away to safety. 0-0 

    1' We're underway at York Road. Magpies attacking the Canal End. Interested to see how Kai Yearn gets on in his first start for the club. 0-0 

    Both teams have made their way out at York Road. The Magpies in black and white with red socks and Faversham in all red with black socks. 

    Striker Corie Andrews in from the start today, with Matt Robinson captaining the team. 

    There's a special offer for supporters heading to today's FA Cup clash. United last played the Lilywhites at this stage of the competition back in 2014. Former Premier League striker DJ Campbell was on target for Johnson Hippolyte's Magpies in a 4-0 win. Danny Green and Tison Reece-Lascaris also netted in a comfortable home win. 

    The Magpies have been urged to stay ruthless this afternoon to maintain their recent winning run

    Today's teams are as follows: 

    Maidenhead United are back at York Road this afternoon for their FA Cup second qualifying round clash with Faversham Town. 

    United come into the match in excellent form, having won four in a row in the league to move up to fifth in the National League South table. 

    Their visitors today though have also been in good form and sit top of the Isthmian League South East Division at this early stage of the season. They're also full of goals, having managed 13 in the league so far this season. In all competitions they've scored 28 times, so Maidenhead will have to be wary of the goal threat they possess.
