Slough police ask for witnesses to robbery involving a knife

Police in Slough have appealed for witnesses to a robbery involving a knife on Thursday evening (May 16).

Two males approached a group of people and demanded they give over belongings, in Memorial Avenue Gardens at around 8pm.

A knife was shown and a bag handed over to the robbers before they ran away towards Slough train station.

Police have described the first male as wearing a green/grey hooded jacket, blue skinny jeans, white socks and black trainers.

The other wore a white cap, a dark hooded jacket, dark tracksuit bottoms and black slider-style shoes with white stripes.

Investigating officer DI Ryan Powell, based at Slough police station, said: “I am appealing for anyone with information about this incident to please get in touch.

“I am also appealing for the victims in this incident to come forwards.

“If you have any CCTV footage in the area or any dash-cam footage if you were driving in the area around the time, I’d also ask that you check any recordings in case it has captured something that could assist our investigation.
