A man in his 20s has suffered life-threatening injuries in a car crash near Ascot Racecourse.
The man, who remains in the hospital where he is being treated for a serious head injury, was one of two drivers involved in the crash at around 5pm on Tuesday (April 15).
A blue BMW 5 Series and a black Ford Ranger hit each other on Winkfield Road, alongside Ascot racecourse and Royal Ascot Golf Course.
The Ford Ranger driver was not injured.
Thames Valley Police has appealed for witnesses to the crash.
Sergeant Mark Gawthrop of the Roads Policing Unit said: “This collision has occurred in the early evening and sadly, one of the drivers has sustained life-threatening injuries.
“I am appealing to anybody who witnessed the collision, or who may have dash-cam or CCTV footage which has captured the collision or the moments leading up to it to please contact Thames Valley Police.
