Police are appealing for witnesses following an affray that took place after the Slough Town v Chelmsford City National League South fixture at the weekend.
A fight broke out on Stoke Road, close to the stadium, shortly after the match had concluded between 5.05pm and 5.20pm on Saturday (January 31).
Dedicated Football Officer PC Steve Mountain said: “We are appealing for any witnesses to this fight to please come forward.
"This incident occurred in a busy area at a time when many supporters and local residents were passing through, and we believe several people may have seen what happened or captured footage on their phones.
“At this stage, we do not have any detailed descriptions of the offenders, so information from the public will be crucial in helping us to identify those involved.”
Slough Town released a statement following the incident involving spectators after Saturday’s 5-0 win over Chelmsford City at Arbour Park.
Slough has taken a ‘zero tolerance’ approach, saying that anyone identified as being involved in the incidents will face ‘appropriate disciplinary action’.
The statement said: “In light of the incidents during and after Saturday’s fixture against Chelmsford City, Slough Town Football Club is conducting a thorough internal investigation and is fully supporting the review being carried out by the relevant external agencies.
“The Club operates a zero-tolerance policy towards behaviour that breaches our ground regulations or brings the Club into disrepute.
“Any individual identified as being involved will face appropriate disciplinary action, which may include suspension or a ban from the Club and its facilities.
“Slough Town Football Club remains committed to providing a safe, welcoming and respectful environment for players, officials, supporters and the wider community.”
Anyone with information, CCTV, mobile phone footage or dash-cam recordings is asked to contact Thames Valley Police on 101 or online via our website, quoting investigation reference 43260051464.
