Slough markets to return this month as traders invited to take part

Street markets in Slough are set to return later this month after attracting hundreds of visitors last year.

Slough BID has announced that the markets will reopen from March 31 and is inviting local traders to sign up for the new season.

Organisers said the markets proved popular in 2025, drawing strong weekly footfall and giving small businesses a chance to showcase their products.

The markets feature a range of goods from local traders, artisans and start-up businesses, helping promote independent retail and bring more people into the town centre.

Slough BID said the initiative also helped strengthen community engagement while supporting the local economy.

A spokesperson for the organisation said: “We are thrilled to bring our markets back this year.

“The response from last year was phenomenal, and we’re committed to making this year even better.

“We invite all traders who are passionate about their products to join us in making Slough's markets a cornerstone of community interaction and local business growth.”

Businesses that take part will benefit from increased footfall and promotional support from the BID, while also contributing to the town centre’s regeneration.

Organisers say the markets are open to a wide range of traders, including independent retailers, craftspeople and new businesses looking to reach more customers.

Slough BID said the markets are part of its wider work to support businesses and improve the town’s trading environment through projects that encourage growth, safety and community involvement.

The Business Improvement District (BID) aims to create opportunities for businesses to connect with customers while enhancing the local trading environment.
