St John’s the Baptist in Kidmore End will hold a special service for All Soul’s Day on Sunday (November 3) at 4.30pm.
The service will include a reading of names of those who have departed. Those who wish to include a name should contact Rev James before Saturday.
The following week there will be a special Remembrance Day service on Sunday (November 10).
The service will gather outside the church at 10.50am by the war memorial in Chalkhouse Green Road.

A former head of music at Newlands Girls’ School in Maidenhead has been banned from teaching indefinitely over a litany of ‘sexually motivated’ advances on students.
Police were called to the Jubilee River in Datchet shortly before 10am on Monday following reports of someone in the water.
The first Captain’s Drive In took place at Mill Ride in Ascot on Sunday to mark the start of the club’s year, which saw more than 100 members attend the ‘incredibly well-supported event’.
