Two more arrests have been made in connection to a road incident that left an on-duty police officer with serious and sustained life-threatening injuries.
A 28-year-old man from Slough was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and causing serious injury by dangerous driving yesterday (May 23).
In addition, a 43-year-old man, also from Slough, was also arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender and perverting the course of justice. They both remain in police custody.
A 38-year-old man who was arrested earlier yesterday on suspicion of attempted murder and causing serious injury by dangerous driving also remains in custody.
The arrests are in connection with an incident on the B416 Bells Hill between Decies Way and Rogers Lane in Stoke Poges, which occurred at 10.20pm on May 22.
The injured officers’ loved ones and colleagues are being supported at this difficult time.
The road was closed in both directions between Decies Way and Rogers Lane, directly affecting the Banana Moon Day Nursery.
