Rave-era legend Mark Archer from Altern-8 will take to the decks for a nautical-themed edition of award-winning family raves.
Aimed at children up to the age of eight the party will also form part of the ‘Around the World in 18 Raves’ Camp Bestival warm-up tour.
Drawing on their own experience as seasoned clubbers and parents to create anarchic, social, real fun for all ages, in just three years BFLF has exploded from a monthly party in Brixton to tour the UK, Europe and Australia.
Founder Hannah Saunders, created BFLF because there was nothing like it to take her own family to: somewhere relaxed, entertaining and daft,
where the adults enjoy themselves as much as the children and vice versa.
She was looking for a mini festival where the grown-ups and children both have a good time.
Hannah said: “As parents their is really something about dancing together with your children, it’s a celebration of life and coming together.
“It’s important that parents and grown ups can come to a safe space and be happy and share that between generations.”
The themed event will provide the opportunity to get crafty on the Captain Cookie craft tables and enjoy a bit of sea leave in the baby chill-out or play areas.
There will also be the chance to win a family ticket to Camp Bestival for guests by taking a picture in the photo booth and uploading it to social media.
Each party is unique and will include a mix of the usual glitter cannons, bubbles, and hula-hooping.
There is also a licensed bar, some light snacks available and free transfers and glowsticks.
Pirate fancy dress is optional.
“Anything goes really,” added Hannah.
“It’s a wonderful combination of energy and somewhere to be creative.
“Being able to enjoy yourself as a family, I think that’s a really important life lesson.”
