    Live blog: Maidenhead United v Solihull Moors

    A huge and well deserved 2-1 win for the Magpies. Barratt with a thunderous winner! 

    90' A couple of minutes left of stoppage time. All hands to the pump now. Maidenhead's fans are relentless with their singing. Ross has just punched away a dangerous cross but Moors have another free kick right on the edge. 2-1 

    it's a free header which they somehow send wide! incredible tension

    90' Barratt intercepts the ball and plays in McCoulsky but he goes too early and is offside! 2-1 

    90' Incredible goal line clearance from Beckwith! That saved a certain goal! 

    90' Massey comes on for Zico Asare who's been forced off with an injury. 2-1

    88' Big chance for Warburton again, after he's played in on the left by Osborne, but he rolls his attempted shot - or cross - wide of Ross's goal 2-1 

    86' Ross throws himself across his line to make a save and push the ball behind for a corner. From the corner, Warburton's shot is deflected over the bar by one of his own players 2-1

    85' Reece Smith replaces Nathaniel-George

    The Magpies have just given away a few sloppy passes and free kicks. They must be tiring. One last push needed. 2-1

    85' Benn gets in again down the left after Beckwith misses his interception. He forces a corner for Moors. 2-1 

    84' Mark Beck heads over for the visitors after they work the ball well to the left and Jay Benn whips in a cross 2-1

    80' Magpies substitution. Sho-Silva is replaced by Shawn McCoulsky

    79' Josh Kelly is replaced by Tyler Bruck

    76' Maidenhead continue to press Moors backwards. Asare this time sends in a cross that Ferdinand just misses and Sho-Silva directs goalwards but he can't generate any power on the header. 2-1

    73' Again brilliant wing play from Mitchell-Lawson who gets to the byline and hangs up a cross that Sho-Silva heads narrowly over 2-1

    68' GOOOOOALLLLLLL! What a goal by Sam Barratt! Maidenhead lead 2-1 

    Barratt intercepted a loose pass out, had a look up and absolutely thumped the ball past Hayes from distance. That flew in like a rocket! 

    68' Moors make the first change. Sbarra is replaced by Matt Warburton 1-1 

    65' Mitchell-Lawson whips another dangerous ball across the six yard box but Barratt can't get on the end of it. Another decent break and opening for the Magpies, who are playing well here against a top team in this division 1-1

    60' Maidenhead are controlling the tempo of this game once again, but Moors are holding firm. 1-1

    Beckwith eventually tries to whip in a cross but there was only Sho-Silva in the area compared to five or six Moors shirts. 

    58' Maidenhead keep the ball really well for a spell, passing the ball around nicely before slipping in Mitchell-Lawson down the right side. Unfortunately his cut back doesn't pick out anyone in black and white. 1-1 

    53' Sliding challenge from Kane Ferdinand to prevent Beck from making it 2-1 to the visitors. Lokko dallied and Kelly caught him in possession to set up the chance. 1-1 

    Correction Asare with the challenge! 

    48' Maidenhead break through Nathaniel-George, he feeds the ball to Mitchell-Lawson in the box who looked to be fouled as beat his marker. Surely a penalty, but the referee waves advantage as the ball rolls to Sho-Silva and the striker can't apply the finish. Decent save from Hayes. 1-1 

    The ref clearly played the advantage there, but Maidenhead would rather have had the penalty, given their scoring issues of late. 

    Pettit gets the game back underway

    Moors immediately back on the attack with Sbarra sending in a low cross that Maidenhead get clear. No slow start to this half from the visitors it seems. 1-1 

    The players are back out and the second half is about to kick off. United will be attacking the Bell Street End in the second half. 1-1

    Chatting to a couple of Magpies fans, they don't seem to hold out much hope for Maidenhead here. But I was impressed with them first half. For my money they've played better today than they did on Tuesday when they spurned more chances. Moors clearly stepped up a gear at the end of the half, but the interval came at a good moment for the hosts. They get the chance to go again.

    For half an hour Maidenhead were in control of this game, but Moors have sprung to life after levelling through Josh Kelly. They now have a free kick right on the edge of the box on the right-hand side of the area. 1-1 

    41' Suddenly the Moors front line are swarming all over the Magpies defence, forcing them into errors and breaking on them at will. Right now, it's about getting into half-time on level terms for the hosts. 1-1

    36' Moors almost make it two goals in the space of a minute as Sbarra goes through on goal, but Ross gets out well to save his effort and the visitors aren't able to turn the ball home with the Maidenhead keeper out of his goal. Big let off for United that. 1-1

    35' Goal for Moors. Josh Kelly 1-1 

    Wouldn't you know it. Kelly scores against his old club. Maycock's ball into the middle causes the Magpies defence some problems and when the ball falls for Kelly, he's clinical, drilling the ball into the back of the net left-footed. 1-1

    35; Card for Clerima after bringing down Maycock and stopping a promising Moors counter attack 1-0 

    32' Moors' big man, little man front two of Beck and Kelly is starting to have a little more joy against Maidenhead's back four. They've threatened a little more in the past few minutes, with Beck heading over the bar the visitors' best chance. 1-0

    27' Again Mitchell-Lawson gets possession and drives at the Moors' defence. He whips a cross to the back post that Barratt can't quite get on the end of and it runs behind for a goalkick. 

    At the other end, Moors create their first real moment of danger, with a cross from the right headed over by Mark Beck. 1-0

    24' Brilliant play again from Mitchell-Lawson to turn his marker on the right and pick out Nathaniel-George, but his strike is blocked by James Clarke. Home side pretty dominant right now, which you wouldn't have expected after Tuesday night 1-0 

    20' Maidenhead win another dangerous free kick through Mitchell-Lawson. He's been really lively so far, while Barratt has swung in some great crosses from the other side. 1-0

    Barratt goes for goal from a really tight angle and Hayes pulls off the save. He very nearly caught him out though and it drew a big 'ooh' from the crowd. 

    18' Alex Whitmore has just scythed down Mitchell-Lawson to collect a yellow card. Hayes then makes an uncertain punch from Barratt's free-kick. United definitely on top at this moment. 1-0 

    15' United press forward again with Nathaniel-George clipping a ball over to the back post which Clerima heads goalwards, but Hayes is able to save comfortably. 1-0 

    11' GOOOAALLLL! Maidenhead lead through Tobi Sho-Silva

    The Magpies work the ball well on the left to Sam Barratt who fizzes in a cross come shot that Hayes saves but Sho-Silva is there to pounce on the rebound. The Magpies are back on the scoresheet for the first time in over a month! 

    7' Again, Maidenhead go close as they win the ball back high up the field and Barratt plays in a low cross that Sho-Silva can't quite divert on target. Brilliant defending by Moors there to prevent the Magpies scoring. 0-0 

    6' The action has ebbed and flowed so far without any major chances. Sho-Silva very nearly just read an underhit back pass from James Clarke but Nick Hayes came out to sweep up the danger. 0-0 

    4' Josh Kelly slides in late on Asare. Just letting him know he's there. 0-0 

    2' Maidenhead have seen plenty of the ball already, with Jayden Mitchell-Lawson making one very good run down the right and swinging in a low cross that's defended well. 0-0

    We're underway at York Road. Maidenhead playing down the slope toward the Canal End first half. 0-0

    Just a few minutes before kick-off now. The two teams are back in the changing rooms getting some last minute advice from their respective coaching teams. Solihull are fourth heading into this afternoon's game, nine points behind third placed Barnet, but they have a couple of games in hand on both the third and second placed teams in the division so they'll be gunning for all three points today. 

    More interesting news in the Maidenhead line-up. Reece Smith and Alan Massey have dropped to the bench to be replaced by Jayden Mitchell-Lawson and Remy Clerima. Alan Devonshire freshening things up for this one. 

    14.40: At York Road we're 20 minutes from kick-off. Both sets of players are out on the field going through their warm-up routines. It's a fine day in Berkshire, conditions are set fair for a good game of football. Maidenhead will be looking to replicate their 2-1 win over Moors back in November, a result assistant boss Ryan Peters said was their best of the season. 

    Before this game kicks off, worth reflecting on a  truly astonishing result for Maidstone United at Ipswich Town this lunchtime. A National League South side through to the fifth round of the FA Cup. For context I saw them lose at Slough Town last weekend. The magic of the cup is still alive and well! 

    This is the first of two major matches at York Road this weekend, with Maidenhead United Women taking on Cambridge United Women in the quarter finals of the FA Women's National League Plate competition. They are the first senior Magpies team to reach the final eight of a national competition in more than 20 years. That match kicks off 2pm tomorrow (Sunday)

    And here's how the visitors line up. No surprise to see Josh Kelly in the starting XI and he'll be keen to impress on his return to York Road

    Your Magpies line up for this afternoon's clash. Tobi Sho-Silva returns to lead the Magpies attack with Shawn McCoulsky returning to the bench alongside Chanka Zimba. 

    Maidenhead United return to York Road for their second match in the space of a few days, with promotion challenging Solihull Moors the visitors. The Magpies will be looking to bounce back from Tuesday's 1-0 defeat to Ebbsfleet United, a match which saw them create plenty of chances but fail to score once again. It's a worrying trend for Alan Devonshire, his coaching team and the players to get to grips with as they side have now registered only one goal in their last six league matches. They face a Moors side with a wealth of attacking options, including Josh Kelly, a player they developed into a potent forward at this level. It's a tough match for the hosts but one they must try to get something from if they're to avoid being dragged into a relegation scrap this season
