A 23-year-old woman has died following a three-vehicle crash in Iver yesterday (Wednesday).
The accident took place at about 7.50pm on the A412 Uxbridge Road, close to the Crooked Billet roundabout, and police are now appealing for witnesses.
Officers were called reports of a crash between a silver Volkswagen Golf, a blue Ford Fiesta and a lorry.
The 23-year-old driver of the Golf was pronounced dead at the scene. Her next of kin have been informed.
The male driver of the Ford Fiesta sustained serious injuries and has been taken to hospital where he is receiving treatment.
The road was closed for seven hours to allow an investigation to be carried out and has now been reopened.
Officers are working to establish the cause of the crash. No arrests have been made at this time.
Investigating officer, Sergeant Tom Smith, said: “I would like to appeal for anyone who witnessed this incident, or who has any information relating to it, to contact us on 101, quoting URN 1361 (19/10).”

It is the second death of a motorist on the Uxbridge Road this week, after a motorcyclist lost his life in George Green on Monday.
