We welcome the decision by the Royal Borough to invest an extra £450,000 in Clewer and Dedworth this year.
Among other things, this investment will ensure that 23 roads and pavements will be repaired in the area.
This work is in addition to the council’s normal highways maintenance programme.
Local Conservatives will have ensured that more than 40 roads and pavements will have been repaired in Clewer and Dedworth since 2015.
It would not have been possible to put this number of improvements in place without the professional help from RBWM highways officers and the political support from the council’s leadership.
The WWRA Party (who claim to champion the interests of West Windsor residents) voted against the budget that contained this extra investment for Clewer and Dedworth. Your readers will know that more repairs to our roads and pavements are needed. They can be assured local Conservatives will continue to work hard not just in Clewer and Dedworth but across the Royal Borough to maintain and improve our roads and pavements.
As the WWRA Party have demonstrated, it is easy to talk about fixing things but it takes an ambitious and progressive Conservative administration to get the job done in Clewer and Dedworth.
