    68' Maidenhead free kick on the right. Headed away by Ebbsfleet. United still have the ball through Popoola but his shot is blocked and the visitors break upfield. The Magpies have to throw caution to the wind now. 0-2

    66' The frustration of that goal is that Maidenhead had started the second half well and were pushing hard for a leveller. 0-2

    Josh Coley manages to get away from Bartley I think on the far side. Looked a possible foul but the referee allowed play to go on and Coley rolled the ball into the path of Edser who whipped a fine left-footed shot past Van Stappershoef! 0-2

    61' A couple of poor crosses thwart promising Maidenhead moves. The second one goes out of the ground behind the Ebbsfleet goal 0-1

    59' Ticking up towards the hour mark. Maidenhead free kick. It goes wide to Popoola, who plays it back to Cochrane. His cross is flicked on by Welch-Hayes and it runs through to Hall. 0-1

    54' Coley blazes over the bar for Fleet. The game has become stretched. Both sides having chances now but Maidenhead have definitely upped their game here 0-1 

    53' Umerah whips a left-footed shot wide at the near post after running onto another good ball by Cochrane. 0-1

    50' Maidenhead are looking to inject a little more tempo into their play. They create another good chance at the back post for Mitchell Lawson whose cut back can't be turned home by Asher Yearwood. This is much better though 0-1 

    48' Fleet force a corner kick. Seaman sends it in and Samuel goes to ground but there was nothing in that challenge. 0-1

    46' CHANCES! Maidenhead race out of the blocks. Umerah with a strike that Hall palms away and Mitchell-Lawson can't turn in the follow up. Two fine saves there from the Fleet keeper. 0-1

    A really flat half of football from the Magpies. Ebbsfleet have played well though and deservedly lead through Coley's close range header from the move of the match. Ryan Peters will be asking his side to lift it or he'll be making changes pretty sharpish.

    45' Shot from the edge of the area by Umerah is easily saved by Matt Hall. 0-1 

    43' Samuel nods over harmlessly. No real threat there but more territory and pressure from the visitors. 0-1

    40' Maidenhead chance. The ball breaks at the far post for Popoola after good work from Dulson and Umerah, but Fleet defenders are on him in a flash and block his shot. 0-1

    39' Coley again causing Maidenhead problems with his quick feet on the edge of the area. He sets up Gene Kennedy but the Magpies manage to clear and Robinson is then fouled. 0-1 

    If it wasn't clear before, Ebbsfleet are now comfortably the better team. 

    36' Free kick opportunity for Maidenhead. It's very quiet in York Road but the Canal End are trying to rouse their side now. Ebbsfleet defend it well and come away with the ball. 0-1 

    33' Goal Ebbsfleet. Josh Coley. The visitors take the lead and they deserve it on the balance of play. This was the best move of the match. Ben Chapman taking the ball past Mitchell-Lawson and whipped in a lovely cross that Coley headed past Van Stappershoef! 0-1

    28' Dominic Samuel is caught offside as he looks to run in on the Maidenhead goal. That was tight. 0-0 

    26' Half chance for Maidenhead as Josh Popoola attempts to wriggle his way into a shooting position inside the Fleet area. 0-0 

    23' Charlie Seaman fires wastefully over the bar after Ebbsfleet work the ball well down Maidenhead's right. They're playing the better football right now and the Magpies are giving the ball away  too cheaply as they look to break. 0-0

    20' A slip by Bartley allows Josh Coley to work his way to the edge of the area but his shot on goal takes a nick off a Maidenhead leg and goes behind for a corner. The Magpies manage to deal with that though as Ebbsfleet were caught offside trying to turn home a dangerous left wing cross. 0-0 

    19' CLOSE! Instead it's Matt Robinson who curls the ball just over the crossbar. Decent effort but just off target. 0-0 

    18' Free kick to Maidenhead. Just outside of the D. Umerah will surely have a look at this. 0-0 

    17' Both teams are working incredibly hard without the ball. Hunting in packs. Not a lot of space for either team to do much creatively so far. 0-0

    10'  Maidenhead sling a couple of long throws into the box and Bartley gets a flick on one of them. But Ebbsfleet deal with the danger and get the ball clear. 0-0 

    5' Fair to say Maidenhead have made a slow start to this match. They've barely managed to get on the ball with Fleet dictating the early stages. 0-0 

    3' CHANCE! Corner for Ebbsfleet as the ball is hacked away into the Advertiser car park. From it, Fleet create a very decent opportunity on the edge of the box with Jake Hessenthaler drilling just wide of Van Stappershoef's right hand post. 0-0

    Maidenhead United ground out a 1-0 win at Eastbourne Borough on Saturday, with Liam Dulson firing in an 89th minute against the league's bottom side.

    Liam Dulson and Manny Onariase return to the starting line up after Saturday's 1-0 win at Eastbourne Borough

    This is the first of four straight home matches in the league for Maidenhead, while six of their last nine league matches are at York Road where their form has generally been pretty strong. 

    These two teams couldn't be much closer in the table. They're level on 62 points with Maidenhead in sixth and Ebbsfleet in seventh, though the Magpies have a better goal difference and have played one fewer league match. Both are just four points off second placed Hornchurch. 

    A clash between two genuine National League South heavyweights is in store as Maidenhead United host Ebbsfleet United at York Road this evening. Both clubs were demoted from the National League last season but are fighting hard to bounce back at the first opportunity. Fleet comfortably got the better of the Magpies when the sides met in the league at the end of January, Ryan Peters felt his side didn't get the rub of the green this evening and he'll be hoping they give a much better account of themselves on home soil.
