Madness to headline open-air concert at Royal Windsor Racecourse this summer

Legendary ska-pop favourites Madness are heading to Windsor this summer to headline a major open-air concert at Royal Windsor Racecourse.

The much-loved band will perform live after evening racing on Thursday, August 13, with the concert expected to deliver a hit-packed set full of sing-alongs, horns and high spirits.

Special guests are yet to be announced.

Madness, formed in Camden Town in 1976, is one of the UK’s most iconic bands, known for hits including Our House and One Step Beyond, and for helping define the late 70s and early 80s 2 Tone revival with their energetic blend of ska, reggae and pop.

Fans can choose between a combined ticket for a full evening of racing plus the concert, or a concert-only ticket for those wanting to arrive later.

Organisers say the event will offer a feel-good night packed with ‘sing-alongs, smiles and ska-pop classics’, with an optional ‘Baggy Trousers’ dress code.

Tickets go on general sale February 12, with fans able to register for presale access 24 hours before the general release.

Prices are:

  • General admission – £49.50 (includes evening racing and the Madness concert, entry from 4pm)
  • Concert only – £39.50 (entry from 7pm)
  • Child – £10 (aged 15 or under)

Under-18s are permitted but must attend strictly with adult supervision.

Gates will open at 4pm, with the first race at 5pm and Madness taking to the stage at 8pm.
